Every decision should begin with one simple question: How does this benefit the people of Frederick County?

I believe citizens deserve elected officials who listen, communicate openly, and remain accountable to those they represent.

I will:

• Put residents before politics and special interests.
• Listen first and lead second.
• Keep government transparent, accessible, and responsive.
• Protect private property rights while respecting neighboring landowners.
• Support our first responders, law enforcement, schools, parks, and community organizations.
• Encourage meaningful citizen participation before major county decisions are made.
• Respect individual rights, equal opportunity, and personal responsibility.

Government works best from the bottom up—not the top down.

The people deserve leaders who are honest, transparent, fiscally responsible, and willing to make difficult decisions based on facts, sound judgment, and community values.

Public office is a public trust.

As the Gainesboro District member of the Planning Commission I voted NO on the proposed Virginia Technology Park in Clear Brook.

While technology plays an important role in our economy, Frederick County's future should be guided by the vision established in our Comprehensive Plan and by the values of the citizens who call this community home.

Large-scale data center development is not compatible with the rural character that residents have repeatedly said they want to preserve. Such projects can place significant demands on public infrastructure, transportation, utilities, emergency services, and our natural resources while permanently altering the rural landscapes that define Frederick County.

As your Supervisor, I will:

• Oppose proposals for large-scale data center campuses in Frederick County.
• Protect rural areas from incompatible industrial development.
• Support economic development that creates quality jobs while respecting our agricultural heritage, natural resources, and quality of life.
• Ensure land-use decisions reflect the Comprehensive Plan and meaningful public participation.
• Put the long-term interests of Frederick County residents ahead of outside development pressures.

Frederick County's greatest competitive advantage is not becoming another technology corridor—it is preserving the farms, forests, open spaces, small businesses, and communities that make our county a remarkable place to live. I will work to protect that legacy for future generations.

I will:

• Carefully evaluate every proposal based on its long-term financial impact.
• Support responsible budgeting and sound financial planning.
• Prioritize funding for core county services.
• Demand measurable results from economic development investments.
• Oppose unnecessary spending that shifts costs to future generations.

Government should live within its means just as families and businesses do.
